Curriculum and Program in partnership with the Korean School Association of America (kosaausa.com)
LKS offers language programs at beginning and intermediate levels for students in Grades 1-8 paired with Jong-i jeobgi, the art of paper-folding, creating a balance of language and communication skills with art and culture.
Students will learn the basics of Hangul, the Korean alphabet. This includes reading, writing, and pronouncing the letters of the alphabet, gradually moving on to vocabulary, grammar, and language structure. The goal, with continued instruction, is for students to grow more proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Hangul and be able to do so with confidence.
Classes meet on Saturdays for 2 hours.
